The renovation project began in the '80s, with the intention of building a full recovery, which would contain the village to be his old, when many families lived there and the company was full of life. The intent was to transform the homes of peasants in apartments for guests of the company, to provide an environment where they could breathe history, art and culture of wine. borgo.jpg Giovanella, one of two owners, personally took care of the project and began the work that still continue today, given the large number of existing rural buildings in the company.

For example, the Customs, at the entrance of the property, has recently been transformed with rooms and romantic little restaurant. So every apartment and every room is built little by little, each with its particular soul (there's Clara House, Casa di Paola, the House of Adriana, the House of Mirella, etc.).. Everything made by good and patient, very patient craftsmen around there. For floors new brick has been used or recovered, treated with linseed oil and wax, and in some rooms upstairs have left the old tiles in gray grit. For the lights are used mostly old trees cut vines in renewing vineyards. The decor: frames, picture frames, sofas, has been made in the company according to the various destinations and choosing shapes, colors and materials. All apartments are on two floors: ground floor kitchen and living room, upstairs bedrooms, one or more with services. At the front, just a beautiful landscape of vineyards. On the back, the old porch, a weather shelter for firewood and farm animals, is now a place where you can rest in peace to eat or sunbathe between hedges of lavender, sage, rosemary and laurel bushes, pomegranate and pittosporum.
