The wine is produced only in the better vintages and it is aged in small oak casks. The result is great elegance and perfect balance, with a deep garnet colour; a refined, complex array of aromas; and a smooth, full palate with wonderfully soft tannins. It goes well with all red meats and matured cheeses.
